Dear Residents, Families, Friends, and community members,
Thank you for all of your support during this pandemic. We are thankful for our community during this time and look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as possible. Today, it is my duty to inform you that as a result of our proactive and robust testing program, we have had a positive resident or staff member test result. This may have an impact on upcoming visits with your loved ones, so please contact the Facility for more information about our current vistiation policy.
The Facility will continue to engage in COVID mitigation and control procedures, including increased testing and other recommendations by the CDC, CMS, IDPH or our local health department. The Facility is currently in Phase One of the CMS re-opening plan. This means that any allowed visitation will be outdoors only.

Our most recent round of routine testing has revealed additional staff and resident positive cases. The impacted staff have been removed from resident contact and all positive residents are co-horted away from their peers to prevent the spread of the virus. We have increased infection control, PPE, and other mitigation efforts in effect at the Facility. As you know, there are still visitor restrictions in place. I am writing today to let you know that our routine testing has revealed an additional staff member positive for COVID-19. This staff member has been removed from resident contact. We also continue to monitor our residents for symptoms. At this time we do have a few residents who have developed COVID like symptoms, but who have tested negative with the rapid test. These residents are separated from their peers as we wait for their PCR test results. We have increased infection control procedures in the Facility and are actively monitoring all staff and residents. We also currently have visitor restrictions in place. We just received an additional resident COVID positive test result. Unfortunately, this means that the Facility must return to Phase 1 of the CMS re-opening plan. This means that the Facility will cancel all planned indoor visits and impose restrictions on eating and activities. We will follow our testing plan to ensure that we stop the further spread of this virus. Thank you for your understanding at this time.

I am writing to share that we have received an additional resident positive test result. That resident has been moved to a dedicated unit. At this time, we have to cancel all anticipated visits pending test results from the whole facility. Visitation will resume as soon as results are received and analyzed.

I am writing to inform you that our weekly testing has revealed a staff member positive for COVID-19. At this time we have to pause visitation to allow us to test everyone in the Facility. Once we have that data, we should be able to resume visitation for most residents. We are monitoring every resident and staff member closely and will update you as soon as we have additional information.
We urge you and your loved ones to consider getting the vaccine if you have yet to be fully vaccinated.
